The UR20 robot sets new standards in collaborative robotics. As Universal Robots’ most powerful cobot, it combines high payload capacity, exceptional reach and maximum efficiency – all within a surprisingly compact design. This makes the UR20 ideal for modern production environments where heavy objects need to be moved precisely and reliably over long distances.

Thanks to its extremely small footprint, the UR20 can be easily integrated into existing work environments without taking up valuable production space. With the latest upgrade, the UR20 robot gains an additional payload capacity of +5 kg, increasing the maximum payload to 25 kg. This enhancement enables companies to handle even heavier components whilst making their processes more efficient.

This leads to improved process quality, reduced cycle times and higher overall productivity. The new payload increase will be available with the launch of PolyScope 5.19 and, in addition to the hardware improvement, also brings software optimisations.
